Sr Agile Java Developer / Team Lead - Immediate Need in RTP

I am partnered with a fast growing start-up specializing in helping large companies successfully adopt and master Agile Software Development Practices and to foster the organizational changes required to leverage this new found capability.

The model used for transforming traditional companies includes a Coach/Training Model as well as an Embedded Model where highly skilled Agile Software Developers, Engineers, Testers and Scrum Masters guide client teams from novice to master level maturity.

Currently we have an immediate need for a Sr. Agile Java Developer who has proven their Agile development skills across multiple organizations using SCRUM and XP practices (TDD, CI, etc.) and who has the technical chops and the people skills to be a "player coach". This is someone who can embed as part of the team and spend 60-70% of their time as a direct contributor and 30-40% of their time as a coach to their peers on the team.

We seek candidates who have been an integral part of a successful SCRUM team at no less than two different companies and three or more would be ideal. Additionally, you must possess excellent Java development skills along with at least 3+ years of proven XP skill and experience (Test Driven Development, Automated Builds, Cross Functional Collaboration, etc.).

Our immediate need is for a client assignment in the RTP area. This client program will go at least five months and likely longer. We seek both project hires and permanent hires for this role, so please indicate your flexibility for joining the team initially as a project hire.
